2015 Walnut Run

The 2015 Walnut Run is almost here! Get ready to lace up your shoes on Sunday, September 13th at 8 a.m. and enjoy the annual run, that is powered by Hall Equities Group. The event features a 5K, 10K, and a free Kids Fun Run. Feel free to dress up in your favorite costume and take a picture in the photo booth!

The race starts at 1201 Main Street, and all the proceeds from the event will help to benefit Walnut Creek schools, Partners for Educational Achievement in K-12 (P.E.A.K), and the Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF). The proceeds are distributed based off of the percentage of participants that are affiliated with each school. The more runners that are from a school, the larger the percentage of donations will be earned.

The Walnut Run was started in 2014 by Eric Miller of Monumental Racing. A group of friends in the local community, who all share a love for community and health, share all the production responsibilities.

Registration for the event is $25 to $35, and the Kids Fun Run is free!
