Moraga Triathlon Coming Up

Bay Area triathletes will assemble at the Soda Aquatic Center and Campolindo High School once again for the Moraga Triathlon on April 26, 2014. T-shirts are ready for all volunteers willing to help out on race day from 5:30AM to around 11:30AM. Triathlons need plenty of volunteers since there are multiple events at different venues.

As usual, along with our adult competitors, the Moraga Triathlon offers youth divisions, with special routes and distances. Two age divisions are available. Children from ages 5 to 7 will have age-appropriate distances to cover. Children ages 8 through 11 can become junior triathletes by traversing their special routes and distances.

Whether you’re a newbie triathlete, older youth competitor or an accomplished contestant, the Moraga Triathlon offers you an exciting challenge. Events include a 400 meter race in the water at the aquatic center, a 22K bike ride through a redwood forest and a 5K run through Campolindo, finishing with one lap around the high school track, as competitors complete the event before a cheering crowd in the grandstand.
