Danville 4th of July Parade

How are you planning on celebrating the Fourth of July? As all the red, white, and blue decorations go up in your neighborhood and around town, it is the perfect time to make plans with all your friends and family to enjoy the holiday. Make sure to head out and enjoy the 2015 Danville 4th of July Parade to help celebrate Independence Day!

The theme of this year’s parade is “Kids on Bikes. Safe, Smart, and Healthy!” This annual event brings in more than 40,000 visitors, including residents of the local community, as well as people from all different areas beyond Danville. The parade is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m., so make sure to get there early to enjoy all that the parade has to offer!

The parade is put on by the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley, which raises funds through various parade sponsorships, community service projects, and entry fees to be donated to local community service programs. The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon has been organizing the Danville 4th of July Parade since 1975, and it continues to be one of the most looked forward to events of the year.

All About Contra Costa would like to invite you and your family out to enjoy this exciting Northern California event this holiday weekend!
