Exciting Local Holiday Events

With the holiday season in full swing, it is the perfect time to look for fun and exciting local events that the whole family can enjoy. Make sure to mark your calendar for all of these holiday events in the community that people of all ages will love.

Get into the winter spirit by bringing the whole family to the Snow Day in the Berkeley Gourmet Ghetto on December 7th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. This fun event gives everyone the chance to play in real snow! The Snow Queen will be on site to listen to holiday wishes and to spread extra holiday cheer. There will be decorated ponies to ride, and arts and crafts stations for children to get creative!

On December 13th, little ones have the chance to write a letter to Santa at Rent-A-Space in Moraga. From 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., children will have the chance to take a picture with Santa and enjoy delicious hot cocoa and cookies. There will be volunteers on site from Be the Star You Are to help children write their letters.

The 38th Annual Holiday Run and Walk for Health is happening on December 13th in Antioch. The run helps to benefit local youth, schools, and libraries while helping to build a healthier community. The fun, family event will be held at the Contra Loma Regional Park starting at 9 a.m.
