Love to be active? This local event is perfect for you! Complete with the trifecta of exercise, this event is great for all athletes and all spectators. Whether you choose to compete, volunteer, or just watch, be sure to check out the 10th Annual Moraga Triathlon for great family fun.

Moraga Triathlon

When: April 23, 2016

Where: Soda Aquatic Center – Campolindo High School

Time: 7:30 a.m.

This route is great for triathletes of all ages and levels. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an experienced professional, you’re sure to have a great time. The race offers several divisions, depending on your age. There are three categories: adult, student, & relay division, 5-7 Youth Division, and 8-11 Division. Keep in mind that the distance will be adjusted for the younger participants. The triathlon consists of a 400-meter swim, 22-kilometer bike ride, and a five-kilometer run. It culminated with a lap around the Campolindo high school track. Make sure you sign up to participate by April 19, 2016, as registration closes.

Fear not if you’re not an athlete! If you’d still like to participate in the fun, but not the race, volunteers are more than welcome. Volunteers can sign up individually or as a group and will be available to help from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Plus, volunteers will receive a complimentary Moraga Triathlon t-shirt. Just be sure to sign up for the event.
